Safe Routes to School

An expert on pedestrian safety from the State came to the Argenziano to train a group of eight parents on strategies for being safe as a pedestrian. Those parents, in turn, trained second graders in small groups. For example, second graders learned to peek around driveways before they walk past them. Thank you to volunteers who included: Jacinthe Albani, Joanna Ng, Courtney Cooke, Dharma Safle, Anna Doherty, Siobhan Hayes, and Ilana Krepchin! If you have a second grader, ask him or her to share a tip they learned.
