Year End Festivities - First Grade

As we counted down to the end of 2014, kids and teachers were celebrating throughout the School.

In the first grade, family members came into the classroom to talk about different cultural and family traditions. Pictured here, Jordie Valdes visited the class to speak about Hanukkah. Through classroom visitors, books, and projects, students learned about different winter holidays, such as Eid al-Fitr. First graders also made and decorated ginger bread cookies and took a trip to see the Nutcracker.
