Students in Grade 4 practice "strong
writing" technique. This means, they are working on mastering strategies for each stage of the writing process (brainstorm, plan, draft, revise, and edit). The students practice by visiting "centers" in the class. Students are working on their story writing
skills to show what they learn when the take the MCAS Long Composition on Thursday.
