4th grade student Maya Jaugust loves science. She worked with her teacher (Ms. Bahn) to enter a poster contest. She traveled to Deer Island to interview someone who works in the water treatment facility to learn about the treatment process. After Maya submitted her poster, she won second place. This was an amazing accomplishment, because 1,873 other students also submitted posters. Congratulations Maya!
